It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Advanced Minimally Invasive, Robotic, and Ablation of Gynaecologists Malaysia (AMRAS). Our society, a home for gynecology healthcare professionals, was established to fill a critical gap in support and development. In this rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, our society is committed to ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements in gynecologic minimally invasive surgery. As healthcare professionals, we must embrace and adapt these innovations into our clinical practice for the betterment of our patients and the future of healthcare in our country.

The rapid advancements in medical technology, particularly minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery and ablation techniques, are reshaping our practice and surgical approach we can offer our patients. To avoid being left behind, AMRAS aims to be the leading platform that empowers and supports our members in staying updated with these innovations. We are committed to advancing the skills and knowledge of gynecologists through continuous education, specialized training, and cutting-edge scientific research, all of which will allow us to offer safer and more effective treatments for women across Malaysia.

Furthermore, one of our key goals is to create a nurturing environment for young gynecologist surgeons. We aim to provide them with the opportunities and resources they need to keep abreast of evolving technologies while fostering strong networks with peers and mentors from across the globe. AMRAS aspires to serve as a pool of trainers and proctors, ready to guide the next generation of surgeons and expand access to high-quality training within our country.

Collaboration is at the core of our mission. We strive to bring together experts and professionals locally and internationally to foster dialogue that will result in consensus opinions, the development of clinical practice guidelines, and improved standards of care. This shared vision will help elevate the level of safety and quality in gynecologic surgery and contribute to improved outcomes for women across the country.

As technology continues to advance, AMRAS is dedicated to excellence in gynaecologic surgery, offering peer support, high-quality courses, and scientific events. We hope that AMRAS will become a place to share knowledge about the latest advances in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
