AMRAS Minimally Invasive, Robotic & Ablative Surgery Fee Advisory Committee

This committee provides guidance on fair, transparent, and standardised fee structures for minimally invasive, robotic, and ablative gynaecologic surgery relevant to local practice.

We aim to support clinicians, institutions, and policymakers by aligning surgical fees with procedural complexity, training requirements, and patient safety standards.

Objectives

  • Develop evidence-informed fee recommendations and suggestions for various gynaecologic MIS, robotic, and ablative procedures.
  • Promote consistency and clarity in surgical fee practices across institutions.
  • Advocate for recognition of the skill, resources, and technology required for advanced surgical techniques with fair and transparent reimbursement for clinicians and surgeons.
  • Engage stakeholders—including surgeons, insurers, and policymakers—to support equitable and sustainable healthcare delivery.
