The Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery (AMIS) Committee
This includes Gynaecologic Endoscopy, Basic to Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Robotic-assisted surgery. AMIS Committee is positioned at the forefront of surgical innovation , driving continuous improvement in the delivery of advanced minimally invasive procedures.
Comprising experts in various subspecialties, the committee provides a platform for the development, evaluation, and dissemination of innovative surgical techniques and technologies.
Objectives of AMIS
AMIS guides and oversees all training activities and certification programmes within AMRAS. In cases of inter-examiner disagreements regarding trainee’s eligibility to pass/fail assessment of the ASC programme(s), the AMIS will act as 3rd assessor and examiner.
