Dr. Chua obtained board certification & Masters in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with sub-specialisation in Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgery. His clinical focus includes female cancers as well as advanced pelvic surgeries. He is a clinical fellow of APAGE-MIT and is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He currently chairs the APAGE-YAG (Young Apage Group), representing fellows and young surgeons in the Asia Pacific Association for Gynaecologic Endoscopy & Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE-MIT). Dr Chua performed the 1st Hinotori Robotic Surgery globally outside Japan on 14/1/2025 and is the pioneer for this Robotic System in Malaysia.

Professor Dr. Nirmala Kampan is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologic Oncologist and Full Professor at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) and the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
She heads both the Gynae-Oncology Unit and the Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgery Unit at HCTM. With subspecialty training in gynaecologic oncology, a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery, and a Ph.D. from Monash University, Australia, she is highly regarded for her expertise in ovarian cancer research, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and gynaecological cancer surgeries and management.
A dedicated educator and mentor, Professor Nirmala plays a central role in postgraduate education, fellowship training, and regional capacity development. She was instrumental in introducing laparoscopic procedures such as lymphadenectomy and sentinel lymph node mapping for gynaecologic malignancies at HCTM.
Under her leadership, UKM has emerged as a leading centre for minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery, promoting safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred surgical practices while advancing women’s health nationwide.

Dr Badrul is a consultant at Regency Specialist Hospital. Having completed his undergraduate studies in 1998 and post-graduate qualifications in 2005, he is a certified Gynae Oncologist, who has served in various states within Malaysia for more than 20 years.

Dr Sundar Gugan is a passionate medical practitioner who is specialized in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G). He has had 19 years of experience in the medical field with most of it spent in O&G. Work experience has been in Hospital Kuala Pilah and Hospital Kuala Lumpur and in Hospital Sungai Buloh. Also visiting consultant in Columbia Asia hospital in Petaling Jaya and Sri Kota medical Centre Klang.

This Penangite completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate training in Universiti of Malaya. He was admitted as Member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology, United Kingdom as well. His career progresses through various institutions from northern Kedah, to central peninsular Petaling Jaya down till southern Johor Bahru. He briefly became the head of department of his specialty in Kluang General Hospital before he continued his service in private medical center in Batu Pahat, Johor.
He is a keen proponent for first trimester screening and attained his certificate of Competence for 11-13 weeks scan from Fetal Medicine Foundation, United Kingdom. He has keen interest in “key-hole surgery” and fertility treatment where he completed relevant training in India and Spain.
He is a member of World Association of Laparoscopy Surgeons and European Society of Human Reproductive and Embryology.

Dr Angeline fell in love with the miracle of life in obstetrics but her passion for surgery led her to delve deeper into minimally invasive surgery. She believes that the challenges faced by surgeons learning MIS are more than compensated by the superior surgical outcomes enjoyed by patients. In line with this, she has been championing MIS in Sarawak and travels regularly to provide minimally invasive surgery and training to specialists in different hospital in the state.
She has been blessed with good teachers and mentors in her career and tries to give back to the faculty. As such, she is also actively involved with training for Sarawak advanced life support in obstetrics (SALSO) and the Sarawak MRCOG Survival Course (SaMS). Her goal is to bring training and advancement to doctors who may not be able to afford the time or the money to go for training overseas.

Dr. Mukhri Hamdan is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with subspecialist in reproductive medicine. He currently works as an O&G consultant at Universiti Malaya Medical (UMMC) and Specialist Centre (UMSC). He is currently the Head for O&G Department in Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya and Head of National Conjoint Board for O&G specialty for Malaysia. He also sits in National Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine subspeciality evaluation committee for Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and actively involved in Advisory and Coordinating Committee for Reproductive Health (Subfertility) for LPPKN.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southampton UK in reproductive sciences (Endometriosis) and also a clinical master in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MObGyn) from University Malaya. He was trained locally and the United Kingdom hospitals. After he completed his clinical master, he joined Complete Fertility Southampton, United Kingdom and gained advanced training in infertility.
He is certified by British Fertility Society (BFS) to perform embryo transfer (IVF/ET) and intrauterine insemination (IUI).

Dr Tan Ee Ping found her love for Obstetrics and Gynaecology even as a medical student. Upon graduation from University of Malaya in 1999, she focused her training mainly in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Her main passion in Gynaecology was Minimal Invasive Surgery in the field of Reproductive Surgery, focusing mainly on Endometriosis and Fertility surgery. She underwent training at IRCAD, Strasbourg in France to perform laparoscopic surgery which included endometriosis and pelvic floor prolapse surgery. She also underwent training at The European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery at Belgium to perform Therapeutic Hysteroscopic surgery, which included Hysteroscopic myomectomy for submucosal fibroids.
Certified as a Robotic Surgeon in June 2017 by Intuitive Surgical after attending training at Chinese University Hong Kong (CUHK) and Tri-service Hospital, Taiwan further enhanced her repertoire of Minimally Invasive Surgery. She was appointed as Clinical Adjunct Professor at UPM from 2021 and was passionate in passing her knowledge and skills in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
