A. Overview
The AMRAS Cup invites young surgeons (≤45 years old) to showcase their innovative work and surgical expertise through a 10-minute video presentation. This platform aims to encourage knowledge sharing and highlight cutting-edge techniques in minimally invasive and robotic gynecological surgery.
B. Eligibility
- Surgeons aged 45 years or younger at the time of submission.
- Open to practicing surgeons, surgical trainees, and fellows specializing in gynaecology.
- Participants must be involved in basic to advanced minimally invasive surgery (MIS) or robotic or ablation techniques.

D. Awards Benefits
- Top 10 finalists will receive:
- Complimentary registration for the AMRAS Conference.
- Free accommodation for the duration of the conference (location to be decided by the organizing committee; check-in: 5/6/26, check-out: 7/6/26).
- Opportunity to present their video and engage with leading experts.
- Best videos may be selected for submission for publication in APAGE-ASURG, GMIT, or the Members' Corner on the AMRAS website.
- Opportunity to present and showcase your work for feedback and evaluation by a panel of expert judges, consisting of representatives from AMRAS and APAGE-YAG, with a chance to win the AMRAS Cup Award.
E. Submission Requirements
A 10-minute video presentation demonstrating original work related to advanced MIS or robotic ablation in gynecological surgery.
- The video should clearly explain the surgical technique, clinical case(s), outcomes, or research findings.
- Include brief introduction slide(s) with participant’s name, institution, and contact details.
- Consent must be obtained for patient visuals or data shown in the video. Organisers may request such information if the need arises
- Registration to main congress is required before video submission.

- Please submit your abstract, video link and all required documents to info@amras.org.my with title “AMRAS 2026 – AMRAS Cup Video Submission”. For any queries, contact: secretariat@amras.org.my

G. Abstract Format
- The submitter must indicate one presenter to present at the congress, who must be one of the listed authors.
- All correspondence regarding the abstract will be directed to the submitter.
- The submitter must consent to the publication of the submitted abstract. Additionally, the submitter is responsible for obtaining consent from all authors prior to completing the submission.
- Abstracts must be limited to a maximum of 500 words for the body text.
- All abstracts are required to be written in English.
- All submissions must consist of original work, and the abstract must not have been published or presented elsewhere.

H. Video format instructions

I. Evaluation Criteria
- Innovation and originality of the surgical technique or research.
- Clarity and educational value of the presentation.
- Clinical relevance and outcomes demonstrated.
- Technical skill and mastery of Gynae Endoscopy, MIS or robotic surgery.
- Overall impact and potential for advancing gynecological surgery.
J. Selection Process
- An expert panel of judges will review all video submissions.
- Top 10 presentations will be selected based on scoring criteria.
- Top ten finalists will be notified by 15 March 2026.
- The top ten finalists will present live at AMRAS Congress 2026 during their allotted time slots. All ten presentations will be subjected to expert judges panel evaluation C scoring. The best video will be chosen amongst the ten finalists and will be awarded
K. Terms and Conditions
- By submitting, participants agree to allow their videos to be used for educational purposes during and after the conference.
- The decision of the judging panel is final.
- Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
